Student answer (Band 6.5)
In today's world, many people believe that we should not construct new homes in countryside and protect it because it is habitant for animal so they can move freely and feel safe, however others think to use that space for building new home. I agree with the view to use the space for creating new houses, as it will provide shelter and employment to humans.
On the one side, population is increasing everyday, so people need shelter and space to live with their families. In addition, people choose to live in nuclear family, to manage their professional and personal life with ease. Another reason is that, people move to different cities in search of work and to make better career where they prefer to stay alone instead of staying with unknowns.
For instance, professional workers in Canada do not prefer to stay in sharing house and they choose to live in their private house/apartment.
On the other side, countryside is a place where nature heals itself and animals can live freely and breathe peacefully. Besides this, it is less crowded and quiet place to live, and work on professional carrier as well as do farming which is not possible in metropolitan cities. For example, a man in the United States moved to a rural area with his family to teach his child the importance of save nature that is not throwing garbage in water, saving electricity and bring him close to mother nature.
In my view, home is the basic necessity for the human being to live, so creating house in rural areas will not only help the country to develop where people will do farming to grow organic foods but also it will generate employment for the people staying in that vicinity.
In conclusion, I assert that demolishing the countryside space to make new homes will result positively only if people don't hurt animals lifecycle chain and help together to protect mother nature.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by presenting a clear position in the introduction and supporting it with reasons. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While you mention the need for housing and employment, the connection between building in the countryside and specific economic benefits is a bit thin. The example regarding the man in the US is relevant but could be more directly linked to the core argument about housing shortages. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph focuses on extending the argument with more detailed analysis rather than just listing points. Overall, the position is consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one side', 'In addition', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For instance, the transition between the discussion of nuclear families and the example about professional workers in Canada is slightly abrupt. Improving the use of referencing and ensuring that each sentence builds clearly upon the previous one will help improve the overall flow and coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'metropolitan cities', 'vicinity', and 'necessity'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'habitant for animal' (should be 'habitat for animals') and 'professional carrier' (should be 'professional career'). Additionally, some phrasing is slightly unnatural, such as 'staying with unknowns'. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise academic terms would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt to use complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, such as missing articles ('in countryside', 'in sharing house'), subject-verb agreement issues ('people choose to live in nuclear family'), and awkward phrasing ('help together to protect'). These errors do not generally impede communication, but they are noticeable. To improve, pay closer attention to article usage and pluralization. Practicing the construction of complex sentences will help you gain better control and reduce the frequency of these minor errors.
