Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 189 words. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete, ending abruptly with 'At the end, countrys'. Because the response is significantly under-length and unfinished, the development of ideas is severely limited. While you attempt to address the prompt by discussing the importance of protecting rural areas versus the need for housing, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting examples or a clear conclusion. To improve, you must ensure you complete the essay structure and expand your points with specific evidence or reasoning to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay uses basic paragraphing, but the logical flow is disrupted by the incomplete nature of the text. You use some cohesive devices such as 'First of all' and 'On the other hand', which help to signal the structure. However, the connection between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the lack of a proper conclusion makes the overall progression unclear. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that supports your central argument, leading to a fully developed conclusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple phrasing such as 'new housing development is also important' and 'harmful environment'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'programs can be execute' (should be 'executed') and 'experienced architecture' (should be 'architects'). To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to urban planning and environmental conservation, and focus on using words in their correct grammatical form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Examples include sentence fragments like 'As population is increasing in big cities day by day' and 'If we will be use it for housing purpose'. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage, such as 'Most the people thinks'. While you attempt some complex structures, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofreading for common errors in tense and pluralization.
