Student answer (Band 6.5)
This is commenced that new homes can increasing nowadays in countryside. However, other claim that it's important to rescue countryside rather than making new homes there. I'm in favor to protect the countryside. Both points well- elaborated in ensuing write-up.
Firstly, country side is home for to wildlife and natural habitants. If we make new buildings there then it is become difficult to the our animals for live. However, this is very important to take care of our green forests because this help to reduce to pollution and make better environment. In a survey it has stated that around 50% green space is better to for environment. It gives fresh air to the people.
Furthermore, many countryside place use for agriculture too. If we stunt making new houses there then we loose farmland. As thus, farmland can reduce food product production. After that country will depend on imported food. So, protect the countryside is very important than still make a new home in this spaces.
However those who have keep in favor to make new home have their own reasons. Firstly, new houses created job in industry. Many unemployed people find work here and they have chance to earn money. Rural areas can also benefit from the improved infrastructure. Then secondly, nowadays growing numbers of population need the housing. Furthermore, lack of houses increase the price and rent in property.
To recapitulate, nonetheless, new housing in countryside is important because of increasing numbers of populations. But, the more important is that to save the our environment spaces, which gives us fresh air.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task and maintains a clear position throughout. You have provided reasons for both sides of the argument, such as environmental protection versus the need for housing and economic growth. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about food production is relevant but could be expanded with more specific detail or a clearer link to the consequences of importing food. The conclusion is a bit contradictory, as you state you are in favor of protecting the countryside but then acknowledge the importance of new housing, which slightly weakens the clarity of your final stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'To recapitulate' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'After that country will depend on imported food'. The logical progression is generally maintained, but the connections between ideas could be smoother to achieve a higher band. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'agriculture', 'infrastructure', and 'unemployed', but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'natural habitants' (should be 'habitats') and 'stunt making' (should be 'stop building'). Some phrasing is awkward, such as 'rescue countryside' instead of 'preserve the countryside'. To improve, focus on using more natural collocations and a wider variety of academic vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Common issues include incorrect verb forms ('new homes can increasing'), missing articles ('the countryside'), and preposition errors ('in favor to protect'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the writing from reaching a higher level of accuracy. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions.
