Student answer (Band 6.0)
Construction of new building has become debatable topic nowadays. Some people believe that it is only possible in countryside. However, others argue that to save villages is crucial than built new houses. I agree with the given statement that villages should allow to built new apartments.
On the one hand, there are few reasons why humans should construct flats in rural area. The primary reason is to save money. This is because, people need to earn hands up amount money in to fulfil all their resident expenses who are living in cities. For example, the amount of utility bills, monthly maintenance is high. Thus, if individuals purchase houses in rural areas, then they may save money for their next generations. Moreover, living healthy life style is another benefit to stay in villages. Because, Rural areas are not big enough to construct more apartments. Consequently, Environment and culture are clean a pure as compared to metro cities, and humans can reside their safely.
On the other hand, downsides to build hoses in rural areas should not be overlook. To begin with, protection of lands are important to provide food for individuals. This is because, most farmers often farming in rural areas because the lands of that areas are soft and good to fertilizer foods. Thus, if humans avoid to build houses there, then farmers can cultivate foods and provide to the residents. Poor people can survive in urban areas in lower income if contractors avoid to build apartments their. To explain, people who have low income to fulfil needs of their families cannot afford to reside in metro cities. For instance, if poor people live in country side, then they can enroll their children in the local schools where they do not need to pay extra money as a tuition fees, because government often helps to poor individuals to pay fees and other expenses.
In conclusion, infrastructures of new apartments have a myriad of benefits and drawbacks for individuals. However, according to my point of view, reside in countryside is not only to save money for poor people but it also helps to live healthy life style there.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While you provide reasons for both sides, some arguments, such as the claim that rural areas are 'not big enough to construct more apartments,' contradict the premise of the task. Additionally, the conclusion introduces a slightly different focus than the body paragraphs. To improve, ensure that your supporting points directly reinforce your main argument and avoid logical contradictions. The ideas are relevant, but they require more precise explanation to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'To begin with,' and 'In conclusion.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as using 'Because' to start a sentence or 'Thus' in contexts where it does not logically follow. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between rural living and saving money for future generations is not fully explained. Improving the flow between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede clarity. For example, phrases like 'earn hands up amount money' and 'soft and good to fertilizer foods' are non-standard and difficult to interpret. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'infrastructure' and 'cultivate,' the overall range is limited. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more natural collocations and ensuring that your word choices are precise and contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'villages should allow to built'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'to save villages is crucial than built new houses'), and missing articles. While these errors do not completely prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to detract from the quality of the writing. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for verb tense consistency would be highly beneficial.
