Student answer (Band 5.0)

In various places, new resident places are required but mere area is available for buildings and that is in the country side.

In this time the main problem is faced by individuals living in cities is with the time our population is increased and when they are young then they want there our personal home but there is no more place in city that all new population manufacture our dream home then sometimes they joint at one place and says that village farming field are added in city in future but this is not good because village is an place where green trees are surrounded all around which gives good natural view.

To be honest my opinion is that the individuals who wants to add rural place in cities this is not good because in this time only in the villages green revolution is in such as green trees are surrounded all around farmer produce green crops which whole the world eat if in future all the villages are added in cities then this suggestion is makes very bad impact on living life because after this process there is more place for all individuals to build there houses but they have not enough crops to eat like wheat to balance our ecosystem farming is most important.

to balance our ecosystem farming is most important farmer grow cops which all the living human are eat by making different new things if farmers are stop growing crops then in whole the world have not enough food to eat so from the above discussion there villages are most important to balance our ecosystem than who want to add villages with cites this is an very bad idea.

In conclusion, from the above discussion we notice that villages are very important our our whole wildlife this is very different from cities if villages are replace with cities then there is chances that there is not enough food to eat on earth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position against building on farmland. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. The argument focuses almost exclusively on food security, neglecting other aspects of the debate such as the necessity of housing for a growing population. The ideas are somewhat underdeveloped, and the essay relies on circular reasoning rather than exploring the complexity of the issue. To improve, you should provide more nuanced arguments that acknowledge the opposing view before refuting it, and ensure that your points are distinct and well-supported with specific examples or logical consequences.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between ideas is often abrupt, and the use of cohesive devices is mechanical or inaccurate, such as the repetitive use of 'from the above discussion'. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. The sentences are often run-on or fragmented, which disrupts the coherence of the text. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'nevertheless') and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus that connects logically to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise. There is significant repetition of basic words like 'place', 'cities', 'villages', and 'crops'. Some word choices are unnatural, such as 'resident places' instead of 'residential areas' or 'manufacture our dream home' instead of 'build their own homes'. There are also issues with word forms, such as 'cops' instead of 'crops' and 'there' instead of 'their'. To reach a higher band, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words in their correct collocations and contexts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on, lacking proper punctuation, which makes them difficult to parse. For example, 'in this time the main problem is faced by individuals living in cities is with the time our population is increased' is grammatically incoherent. The range of structures is limited, relying mostly on simple sentences with errors in complex constructions. You should focus on mastering basic sentence structure, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of prepositions before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
