Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadys, due to increasing population the deamnd of new housing booming rapidly specially in big cities. However, some individuals argue that protecting of countryside areas are more impoetant rather then building new residential area in countryside. I partly agree with this notion. this eassy will explain the reasons behind it.
On the one hand, the critics of buidling new houses in remote areas argue that building new houses at countryside will have a adverse effect of the natural habitats of wild animals. Deforestation is the first step of building new accommodation area for people. Therefore, it effect the natural cycle greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide emition and so on which will have the negative effect of the life of individuals. Furthermore, building new housing in countryside areas is to capital entancive project. Besides construction of houses authorities have to spend excessive amount of money to complete the basic amantites such as water, electricity, roads and so on.
On the other hand, supporters of countranction of housing outside of cities support there notion with this will be the good source of income for local government in the for of tax. When individuals purchase any property the have to pay a perticular amount of money to governemnet in the for of tax. Consequently, autorities will generate lot of money and allocate that funds to provide better education, healthcare and living standard to their citizens.
In my opinion, authorities should focus more on building multistory residential appartment which occupy less space and fullfel the housing needs of more and more people. For example, housing apartments, codos and so on.
In conclusion, every coin has two sides, on the one side where building new houses have negative effect on the natural habitats and environment cycle. Whereas, on the other side it will be the great source of income for authorites in the form of tax.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. You have provided relevant arguments for both sides of the issue and offered a personal opinion in the body paragraph. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'capital intensive' projects is mentioned but not fully explained in terms of why this is a barrier to development. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully elaborated with more specific reasoning or examples. The conclusion is also quite brief and could better synthesize the main arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Consequently' to link your thoughts. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the abrupt start of the sentence 'this eassy will explain...' which lacks proper capitalization and connection to the previous sentence. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'deforestation,' 'residential area,' and 'natural habitats.' However, there are frequent spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'Nowadys,' 'deamnd,' 'impoetant,' 'eassy,' 'buidling,' 'entancive,' 'amantites,' and 'countranction.' These errors are noticeable and detract from the professional quality of the writing. While the meaning remains clear, the high frequency of these slips limits the score. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to catch common spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more precise collocations to express your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'protecting of countryside areas are more impoetant rather then building,' where there are issues with subject-verb agreement and word choice ('than' vs 'then'). There are also persistent errors with articles (e.g., 'the negative effect of the life') and prepositions. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to affect the clarity of your arguments. Increasing your focus on sentence construction and basic grammatical accuracy will help you achieve a higher band score.
