Since the growth in major cities have massively incresed for the the past few years, which directly caused housing shortages in urban areas, leading to the increse of rural or countryside house develpment. Some argue that this develpment is important, other say we should defend our countryside. Furthermore, we will discuss both views before stating my stance.

Some argue that it is certainly necessery now to protect our rural areas or countryside for ecosystem and environment protection. As minor disruption in these would cause a severe impant on humanity liveliness. As an ecosystem is built from every specie in the food

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, containing only 101 words. Because the essay is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence, it fails to address the prompt fully. The position is not clearly established, and the arguments are not developed. The response is essentially a fragment of an introduction and a partial first paragraph. To improve, you must ensure you complete the task by writing at least 250 words, providing a clear opinion, and fully developing your arguments with supporting evidence and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The text shows an attempt at logical structure by introducing the topic and mentioning a discussion of both views. However, because the essay is incomplete, there is no overall progression of ideas. Paragraphing is attempted, but the second paragraph is cut off abruptly. Cohesive devices like 'Furthermore' and 'Some argue' are used, but they are mechanical. To improve, focus on completing your thoughts and using a wider range of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly throughout a full-length essay.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and contains several spelling errors, such as 'incresed' (increased), 'develpment' (development), 'necessery' (necessary), 'impant' (impact), and 'specie' (species). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey basic meaning, the range is narrow and the errors are frequent enough to be distracting. To improve, focus on accurate spelling and try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary related to urban planning and environmental conservation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains several grammatical errors, such as 'growth... have massively incresed' (subject-verb agreement) and 'other say' (missing subject 'others'). There is also a lack of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent. The sentence fragments and incomplete thoughts make it difficult to assess your full range. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that every sentence has a clear subject and verb. Practice writing complete, complex sentences to demonstrate better grammatical control.
