Student answer (Band 6.0)

Resident buildings are considered to the main part for people in their lives. In some locations, the area for constructing houses only available in the remote side.

But some individuals argue that it can ruin the peace of countryside if more buildings introduce in those locations. In my view, I will discuss its positive and negative developments.

The two main reasons for people's intention to preserve the countryside is that it could be a home for various natural creatures and numerous local people source of income. To explain it, in these locations' mostly variety of natural habitat survived with their families if people start building houses that will be required to cutdown all the trees and plants which lead to disturb the beauty of nature. Additionally, construction for apartments needed a clear space means acaras of agriculture land which may disturb the life of small-scale farmers. For example, if builders trying to buy their land for introducing such infrastructure will badly impact on their financial issues.

On the other hand, there are some positive sides for having such notions for countryside community and it would be beneficial for country's development. It makes rural people lives easier if more houses will be in their locations automatically there will be other facilities also such as good education systems and healthcare systems. Furthermore, a nation can be become a developed country while introducing such things in their countryside area which have the scarcity of water and electricity.

In conclusion, although this trend will spoil the presence of natural world while cutting the trees for this achievement but there should be proper regulations implements by authorities that can be preserve the ecosystem and also fulfill these needs

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the protection of the countryside and the potential benefits of development. However, the position is not consistently clear throughout the essay. While you mention that you will discuss positive and negative developments, the essay lacks a strong, unified argument. The ideas are relevant, but some points, such as the impact on small-scale farmers, are somewhat under-developed. To improve, ensure that your opinion is clearly stated in the introduction and consistently supported throughout the body paragraphs, rather than simply listing pros and cons.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Additionally', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition into the second paragraph. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and some sentences lack smooth flow, which affects the overall coherence. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would strengthen this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are instances of awkward word choices, such as 'Resident buildings' instead of 'Residential buildings' and 'remote side' instead of 'remote areas'. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'natural habitat' and 'infrastructure', but there are also errors in collocation, such as 'financial issues' when referring to the impact on farmers. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise terminology and collocations related to urban planning and environmental conservation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('construction for apartments needed', 'there should be proper regulations implements'), article usage, and word order. For example, 'if more buildings introduce in those locations' should be 'if more buildings are introduced'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense and pluralization.
