Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is undeniably true that home is comfort zone of the human. Owing to this, a large number of people believe that the demands of building new homes in countryside area is rising day by day due to overpopulation. Others claim that the small towns should be protected from new housing construction. I believe that village have their own identity government should not allow to public to build new homes there. There are number of reasons which I will elaborated in subsequent segments.
Commencing with the importance of villages why new should not build in that area. To be more clear, in this contemporary era, farming is getting reducing. So in future in case if builders build the new homes in towns they will ruin the farming system which put impact on world food supply system. Also, remote areas help in environment to stabilize the temperature. Due to number of trees and greenery, these areas are more cooler than metropolitan areas which give support to the cities to stay cooler so if people do deforestation that may also impact on wildlife and cities too.
There are some of the solution of this notion. The first and foremost is that instead of building new homes in village government should empty the places that are full with the industrial wastage. As usually cities areas are full with the unnecessary garbage so if Law maker get their attention on those areas then they can find enough space in the advanced areas to build the new housing. To cite an example, Authority can make new high density of housing in existing apartment or building by using modern architectural style and fixing old building, this may solve their problem and get enough space to constructing the new homes.
In my opinion, it is evident that my point of view is in the favour of protecting villages because villages are more peaceful than cities if the new housing build there this may harm the countryside environment.
To put in. nutshell, by analyzing the aforementioned domains no doubt overpopulation rise the demands of new shelter. But, with the help of Government this problem can be easily tackled even in the cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task and presents a clear position throughout, arguing in favour of protecting the countryside from new housing construction. The student introduces relevant ideas, such as the impact on farming and the world food supply, as well as the environmental benefits of green spaces. However, these ideas tend to be somewhat under-developed or general, lacking specific real-world examples beyond broad assertions. For instance, the suggestion to utilize industrial waste sites or existing buildings is introduced in the third body paragraph but not fully elaborated. Despite these limitations in depth, the writer maintains a consistent stance and covers both sides of the prompt briefly before concluding firmly. This aligns well with the requirements for a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, dividing the response into a distinct introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. The writer relies heavily on formulaic transition phrases, such as Commencing with the importance of villages why new should not build in that area and To put in. nutshell, with punctuation errors in transitional markers. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and logical progression within paragraphs is disrupted by awkward phrasing and abrupt shifts in focus. While the organizational structure is visible and the essay flows from one point to the next, the mechanical nature of the cohesive devices and occasional lapses in referencing prevent it from reaching a higher band, placing it comfortably at a Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting less common items such as overpopulation, metropolitan areas, architectural style, and deforestation. However, there are numerous word choice, collocation, and form errors throughout the text, such as demands of building new homes in countryside area instead of areas, farming is getting reducing instead of declining, and Law maker instead of lawmakers. Spelling and word formation issues, such as more cooler instead of cooler and in nutshell instead of in a nutshell, are noticeable. While these inaccuracies do not completely impede communication, they restrict the vocabulary score to a Band 5.0 due to frequent lexical strain.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, articles, prepositions, and clause structures. Examples include village have their own identity government should not allow to public, remote areas help in environment to stabilize, and if Law maker get their attention. Punctuation errors, such as missing commas and a stray full stop in the final paragraph, are also present. Because the frequent grammatical errors cause some difficulty for the reader and accurate complex structures are sparse, the performance corresponds to a Band 5.0.
