Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this Modern era, population is increasing at a high pace comparing to prveious decade which is creating a huge significance on the construction industry to build new homes in countryside. Some individuals tend to believe that it is very pivotal to protect the countryside but stopping the new house to build in such aeras while other argue this will effect adversely for working class who is paying substential amounts of their income in the form of rent. I largley, agree with the working class and their opinion.
Supporters who are incline to protect this side of country has very resaonable assumptions radarding their viewpiont beacuse they believe construction will destory beauty of these places. For example, it will rise the raw materials cost very rapidly and it affects a bad impact on the traffic system as well. One other main point is it will increase the crime rates becasue individuals for all our the country wish to move in this part quickly as possible.
Alternatively, some people argue that this pratice is very fragile in nature everyone has right to build a house anywhere they want. Fox example, it will helps to maintain the rents of the properties.Other main aspect is it will create numerous job opportunities for middle class workers and strengthen the economy because people's will buy raw materials locally. Also in last it helps to emerge new communities of individuals who will work together in the progress of the city and make a significant increase in GDP ratio.
In conclusion, if we see this issue broadly new houses are needed but we should keep it concise so everyone should benefit equally.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument regarding building new homes in the countryside and clearly states a personal position in the introduction ("I largley, agree with the working class and their opinion"). However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the second paragraph mentions that construction will increase crime rates and raw material costs, but these points lack clear expansion or specific examples. Similarly, the counter-arguments regarding rent and job creation are introduced but not fully explored. This places the performance firmly in Band 5, as it addresses the task with a clear position, but the supporting ideas remain underdeveloped.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing basic paragraphing. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as "Alternatively", "For example", and "In conclusion". However, referencing and transitions are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the sentence "Also in last it helps to emerge new communities" displays awkward linking and progression. Overall organization is present, but the lack of smooth transitions and occasional awkward phrasing prevent the text from achieving a higher band, making Band 5 an accurate reflection of its cohesive qualities.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as "substential", "significance", and "infrastructure" (implied), but encounters frequent spelling and word-choice errors. Examples include "prveious", "aeras", "incline" instead of "inclined", "radarding", "destory", "becasue", and "pratice" instead of "practice". These errors indicate a limited range with noticeable spelling issues that occasionally cause the reader some difficulty, which aligns with the Band 5 descriptors for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control is inconsistent. There are numerous grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ("population is increasing... comparing to prveious decade which is creating"), missing articles ("build new homes in countryside"), and awkward phrasing ("stopping the new house to build"). Punctuation errors are also present, such as missing spaces after periods and commas. Because the attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty and errors are recurrent, the grammar corresponds to a Band 5 level.
