Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many indiviuals have this thinking to save countryside and avoid new construction at the same time people need space to live.Well I must sa saving country side from constraction is a great idea because of massive 'constraction we are distorying the nature.Which is a great lost but On the other hand we cannot ignore need of people .Currently the biggest issue is to provide new homes to people.
First of all we should save the nature as much as we can. Because of massive developments in cities we are losing nature at the same time which is becoming more stressfull now a days. According to recent survey which was help in UK says "People of cities are loosing nature very fastly" This is a alarming situation for everyone.
On the other hand we cannot ignore need of people. Currently the biggest need is to provied them homes. So yeah people can live in rent houses and also in apartments. If the hosue is fully ventalated people of the house will always stay healthy. According to studies of Mr.Lee "People, Who try to live near nature. They always stay healthy'. That is true. There are so many housing societies now which have parks and other place to visit. I guess people sould move to societies now to avoid the rushy ares.
Overall, With times everything change now and its have also flaws with every deveoplment. We must try to save as much nature we can.People should move to apartments now to avoid the rushy n busy life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the need to protect the countryside and the necessity of providing new homes for people. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed throughout the essay. While the writer presents a clear opinion that saving nature is important and suggests alternatives such as living in apartments or rented houses, these points lack deep elaboration or concrete supporting details. For instance, the reference to a survey in the UK is very vague ('According to recent survey which was help in UK says...'), and the discussion about ventilation and health lacks strong connection to the core housing debate. The position is visible, but the development of arguments is restricted, leading to a partial treatment of the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation evident in the essay, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which creates a coherent overall arrangement. However, there is no clear progression of ideas across the text, and transitions between paragraphs feel abrupt. Cohesive devices are used rather mechanically and inadequately, with repetitive phrases such as 'On the other hand' and basic linking words like 'First of all'. Paragraphing is attempted, but some paragraphs mix multiple ideas, such as combining the discussion of rented houses, ventilation, and housing societies into a single section without smooth logical bridges. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making the flow somewhat disjointed for the reader.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'developments', 'societies', and 'ventalated', but these attempts are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form. For example, 'indiviuals' is misspelled, 'constraction' and 'distorying' contain severe spelling errors, and phrases like 'rushy ares' (busy areas) and 'rent houses' demonstrate weak collocation. These lexical errors and limitations cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the precision of the argument, reflecting a restricted range of language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response relies on a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in grammar and punctuation that cause difficulty for the reader. Issues include subject-verb agreement errors ('its have also flaws'), missing or incorrect articles ('a alarming situation', 'recent survey'), incorrect punctuation and spacing around punctuation marks, and structural errors within clauses (e.g., 'According to recent survey which was help in UK says'). While some simple sentences are controlled adequately, the frequent grammatical errors across different sentence patterns mean the grammar lacks the stability required for higher bands.
