Student answer (Band 5.5)
In context of builing the new housing facalities in the countryside when new houses are in demand. A large group of people believe to save the countryside instead of build new infrastrure there. In my prespective, saving countryside is more important, to save the wildlife and environmental balance, my next peragraphs will support this opinion.
To commence with protecting forests will directly leads to save wilelife as animals will find the shelters in residental areas that can harm the humans very badly. As result, a noumerous of species are lost just becase we are unable to takecare of wildlife, and only focused on removing their shelters. Government should introduce new law and fines for the builder who are planning or raising the housing project on unauthorised area.
Secondly, the decision of remove countryside will definelty effect the environment. For instance, in today's world a lot of natural disasters occers just because effecting the nature, cutting trees, mountains and many more which directly effecting global warming. Instead of going to the countryside, government should introduce high rise building into rural areas which would be more helpfull for people to stay near cities. It would also supports in small business and economic growth when residents increase the business in rural areas.
All in all, I strongly beleive that using the countryside for building housing project is not good. Not only government but we also need to take necessary actions to support the protection of countryside.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you believe protecting the countryside is more important, and you give relevant reasons involving wildlife and environmental damage. The examples about animals losing their habitats and tree-cutting contributing to environmental problems address the question. However, the response only partly develops the argument. The claim that high-rise buildings in rural areas would help people stay near cities is not fully explained, and the economic-growth point is introduced without showing how it supports your position. The response is also 7 words below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain each reason with a specific example and develop the alternative housing solution more clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The progression from wildlife protection to environmental effects is logical, and signposts such as “To commence with,” “Secondly” and “All in all” help readers follow the main stages. However, these transitions can feel mechanical, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the move from environmental damage to high-rise buildings and then to small businesses is abrupt; explain the connection between these points. The opening sentence is also difficult to follow, which weakens the introduction’s flow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each supporting example directly to the paragraph’s main claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “wildlife,” “environmental balance,” “natural disasters” and “global warming,” so the reader can understand the subject and your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less precise, such as “builing,” “facalities,” “wilelife” and “definelty.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “a numerous of species” and “removing their shelters.” Aim to learn accurate collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions would help you explain the effects of construction and the benefits of protecting rural land without relying on broad or repetitive wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “when residents increase the business in rural areas.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “protecting forests will directly leads” has incorrect verb agreement, while “the decision of remove countryside will” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The opening is also a sentence fragment rather than a complete sentence. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a supporting clause, and check subject–verb agreement and infinitive forms. Greater control of these patterns would make your ideas clearer.
