Student answer (Band 4.5)
In many areas , new houses are important ,so, only space available for bulilding them is in the urban side . few individuals say that its is neccrsary to protect the countryside and not build new homes , in my opinin new houses are impotant for country side this eassy will discuss reasons and sloutions in upcoming paragraphs.
on the one hand , new housesvare important for making in country side , because population is increasing day by day . this is to say that if authorties and individuals make houses in counrtyside so they can easily live as well as can make healthy lifestyle which is best for country ,therfore traffic problms are solving in cities people can save their time which is waste in trafffic.for example, in punab alot of individuals like countryside area for living that is why they are very healthy as well as do farming in side.
on the other side , others feel that ne houses are not make in countryside , because open space is important for farming and environment . In other words if people dont make house in urban so, people can easily grow various crops and vegetables which isnis most important in individuals ,thus authorties should make buldings dont makle new houses in countrysidre. For example in mumabi majority of people in live in apartment and flates and they use counsty side for farming,
In my opinion ,government should suggest to people for making houses in urban areas which is fruitful for countrygrowth.
In conclusion. althoug new houses are important in countryside for sloving the papulation and traffic probem. Yet, country is only imprtantant for farming so people should not make houses in urban areas.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a recognisable opinion: you support building homes in the countryside at first, then conclude that people should not build there and favour urban areas. You also introduce relevant points about population growth, traffic, farming and the environment, with examples referring to Punjab and Mumbai. However, the position is inconsistent, and the reasons are not clearly explained or supported; for instance, the claim that countryside housing will solve city traffic is asserted rather than demonstrated. The discussion also shifts between countryside and urban areas in ways that make your recommendation unclear. To strengthen the response, state one position clearly in the introduction and maintain it, then develop each reason with a specific explanation and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion, so there is an attempt to organise the discussion. Connectors such as “on the one hand,” “on the other side,” “for example” and “in conclusion” help signal stages. However, the ideas within paragraphs do not progress clearly, and some links are confusing: the first body paragraph supports countryside housing, while the conclusion recommends against it. Phrases such as “thus authorities should make buildings dont makle new houses” are difficult to follow, and the final paragraph introduces a recommendation without resolving the earlier contradiction. Use a clear topic sentence in each paragraph, connect each explanation directly to its main point, and make the conclusion consistent with the stated opinion.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “population,” “healthy lifestyle,” “traffic problems,” “environment,” “farming” and “various crops.” These choices show awareness of the subject, but the range is basic and repetition is noticeable, especially with “important,” “people” and “houses.” Frequent spelling errors, such as “counrtyside,” “authorties” and “papulation,” make the text harder to read. Some word combinations are also unclear or unnatural, including “making houses in country side” and “solve the population.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, use “accommodate a growing population” rather than “solve the population,” and “rural areas” where appropriate instead of repeatedly using “countryside.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to form longer sentences using “because,” “if” and “which,” as in “because population is increasing day by day” and “if people dont make house in urban.” However, sentence structures are very limited in control, and errors frequently obscure the intended meaning. Examples include “new housesvare important for making,” “people can easily live as well as can make,” and “people in live in apartment.” Subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals and verb forms are often inaccurate, while punctuation and spacing around commas and full stops are inconsistent. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with one subordinate clause. Check that each sentence has a clear subject and verb, and review articles and plural forms before submitting.
