Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, there are increasing demand for houses in many places, in order to full fill this demand there is only way to built houses is in a countryside area.many people denied that a countryside place shoulde not be use for building houses.I am totally agree with this statement.
On the one hand, to built a new house it is not mendatory to use country side's area.People have save these land for many othe reasons such as agriculture, hospital, office. So buiding houses in a country side area is not the possible solution of demands for houses.Secondly, if these lands use as building than there will many discomfort come with such as safety, health concern.
On the other hand there are so many benefits to use these lands to built houses, so many people will get opportunity to own new houses for themselves as well as if they want to invest somewhere then they can also choose this as an opportunity. As well as population will increase in countyside area so people will feel more social, frendly.
In Conclusion, I am agree with a statement that these lands could be use as other things.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a clear opinion in the introduction—“I am totally agree with this statement”—and return to it in the conclusion, while presenting arguments on both sides. However, the position is not fully consistent: the second body paragraph supports building homes in the countryside, but the conclusion favours using the land for other purposes. The reasons are also brief and not sufficiently explained. For example, you mention agriculture, hospitals and offices, but do not show how these needs should be balanced against housing demand; the claims about safety and health are similarly unexplained. The response is also 60 words below the required minimum, limiting the opportunity to develop relevant examples and support your opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. These markers help readers identify the broad organisation. However, the ideas do not progress consistently towards a single conclusion: the second body paragraph lists benefits of building in the countryside, whereas the conclusion appears to reject that option. Connections within paragraphs are also sometimes unclear, and several points are placed together without explanation, such as “agriculture, hospital, office.” The repeated use of “as well as” and long, loosely joined sentences makes the flow mechanical. A clearer sequence of claim, explanation and example in each paragraph would strengthen cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “demand for houses,” “agriculture,” “safety,” “health concern” and “invest.” This gives you a basic range for discussing housing and land use. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and noticeable spelling and word-form errors sometimes make the message harder to follow: “full fill,” “buiding,” “countyside” and “frendly” are examples. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “many discomfort come” and “people will feel more social.” Aim to learn common collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for the competing needs—such as housing supply, farmland and public services—would help you express the argument more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response includes basic linking structures such as “if” and “as well as.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, agreement and verb forms, sometimes making relationships between ideas difficult to understand. For example, “there are increasing demand” has an agreement error, while “I am totally agree” uses an incorrect verb pattern. In “if these lands use as building,” the passive construction is incomplete, and “there will many discomfort come” is not grammatically formed. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent. Practise accurate basic clauses first, then build longer sentences with controlled subordinate clauses.
