Student answer (Band 5.5)
in this modern era,due to rapid grow in population ,need a lot of space for making new homes but the space is only avalible in countryside areas so few individuals believe that rural area needed protection as compare to cities resultly homes will not build in those areas. Definately i agree with this notion because of preserving biodiversity, enviournmental health, agriculture and mental well being.
To commence with, to save rural areas enviournmental control. initialy, biodiversity will damage due to construction. to elobrate it, if construction will started in countryside areas then it will give hardtime to tiny insects. those will not survive in those areas. resultly, enviournmentle cycle will damage and their food chains will not work properly. secondly, home creation will damage envournment health. to explain it people should cutt tress, which will increase carbon emmission hence people can face suviour breath related issues.
furthure more, it disrupted agriculture so people will have less land to bowing homemade seeds, to fullfill needs of population authorities should have to make artificial eatables in less time. which will result increase in unemployement rate. moreover, noise polution will impact on people mentle well being according to this , if countryside area had started construction then the noise polution will increase in rural areas which will create a lot of health issues as a result people who work whole day thwy face issues while sleeping and not get proper fresh air and face health and mentle pressure.
to conclude, making new home in countyside areas is more riskey than making new building in busy and noisy areas so people can save their roots, biodiversity , agryculture and place with good envoiurnment and fresh air .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that countryside should be protected, and you address several relevant reasons, including biodiversity, agriculture, environmental quality and mental well-being. The examples about insects losing habitats and noise affecting sleep help explain your view. However, some points are not fully developed or are unclear. For instance, the link between building homes, artificial food and unemployment is asserted rather than explained, and the claim that construction in already busy areas is preferable is not supported with a specific reason or example. Develop each main point through a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and add a relevant example, such as how housing could be built more densely in existing urban areas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally progress from environmental effects to agriculture and well-being. Linking expressions such as “To commence with,” “secondly,” “furthermore” and “to conclude” help signal this organisation. At times, however, cohesion feels mechanical because several points are joined by a sequence of connectors rather than developed in clear stages. Some references are also difficult to follow, as in “those will not survive” and “according to this,” where the reader must infer what the pronoun or phrase refers to. Group related effects into focused paragraphs and use explicit references, such as “these insects” or “this loss of habitat,” to make the progression clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “biodiversity,” “carbon emission,” “agriculture,” “mental well-being” and “food chains,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range and control are limited by frequent spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations. Examples include “rapid grow,” “hardtime,” “artificial eatables,” “bowing homemade seeds” and “more riskey”; these can make the intended meaning difficult to understand. Some repeated wording, particularly “countryside areas” and “noise pollution,” also limits flexibility. Build accuracy with common collocations before reaching for less familiar expressions: for example, use “rapid population growth,” “crop cultivation,” “processed food” where appropriate, and “greater risk.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would make your ideas more accessible.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and cause-and-effect structures such as “if construction will started…” and “which will increase carbon emission.” This shows an effort to express relationships between ideas, but the complex forms are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “if construction will started” needs a correctly formed conditional, while “people should have to make” combines two incompatible modal patterns. Several sentences also run together after full stops or commas, as in the discussion of agriculture and artificial food. Practise accurate conditional patterns and modal verbs, and divide long sentences into shorter, complete units; this will improve control without limiting your range.
