Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, now a days we can see that population is increasing and every one wants a separate house or apartments and countryside is that place where local pepole find peace. so let's see in this eassy will find out pros and cons to build new homes at countryside or not.
There are many real estate brokers and lands owers wants to make money and making new houses and appartments thay are earning so much money. The purpose of making building and homes at countryside, beacuse everyone wants peace and relaxation in thier life. countryside is beautiful and peace place to stay and live. After a long working day man needs relaxation at the end of the day,so many people earning for better living only.
It is good to live a better life in peace area but countyside is that place where city residents come for walk, spending good times, family picnic and taking nature bisides there daily rutine. but when so many residents and people increase in city no choice we have to meke a new homes and appartments. my suggestion is on making the new homes but on really expensive cost becuase if you want to live a better life you have to spend money . Then people who wants thay will buy it.
Then it will be not so much crowd in the countryside or city residents can also enjoy it very well so, if possible making new homes its a good opntion but making so many houses going to more like city area. we know the beauty of countryside , quite big lake and full of nature . we have to maintaine that as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant opinion: you support building some homes, while also recognising that the countryside’s natural character should be maintained. The points about residents seeking peace and city people using rural areas for walks and picnics relate to the question. However, the position is not consistently clear: the opening promises to discuss “pros and cons,” and the conclusion says building is a “good option” only “if possible,” without defining when development should be allowed. Several ideas, such as making homes “really expensive,” are introduced but not explained or supported with a clear example. State your view directly and develop two reasons with specific explanation, such as how carefully planned housing could meet demand while protecting valued landscapes.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to reasons for building, the countryside’s recreational value, and a concluding comment. Some linking words, including “but,” “Then,” and “so,” show attempts to connect ideas. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several points are repeated or joined without clear relationships. For example, the paragraph about expensive homes shifts from peaceful living to affordability and then to reducing crowding, without explaining the links. The final paragraph also combines the benefits of development with a warning about urbanisation. Organise each body paragraph around one main point, use clearer topic sentences, and make references such as “it” and “that” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “population,” “countryside,” “relaxation,” “residents,” and “nature,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “new homes,” “peace,” and “countryside.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “pepole,” “thier,” “appartments,” and “maintaine,” as well as imprecise or unnatural combinations such as “peace area” and “quite big lake.” These can make the reader pause or work out your meaning. Build a more precise range for discussing housing and conservation, and check spelling and collocations carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer sentences with clauses, for example, “but when so many residents and people increase in city no choice we have to meke a new homes.” This shows an effort to express cause and contrast, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include missing or incorrect articles and plurals in “a new homes,” “in city,” and “peace place,” as well as subject–verb agreement in “brokers and lands owers wants.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, with long run-on sentences and lowercase sentence openings. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check agreement, articles, and punctuation.
