You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Manager,

I would like to show my interest in making a move to our head office which is located in Germany for six months, as I believe, this will give not only give me an excellent exposure in building connection with our international team mates, with whom, I have usually connected virtually, but also gain a skillset by getting cross trained with other department.

While, I will be gone for six months, I am certain to manage my workload from the head office, since my role in the current portfolio is majorly independent with no conflicts. Furthermore, since I would be away from my family, I would be able to focus more on my current deliverables by having extended work hours.

I would really appreciate, if you can arrange me with a reference and a recommendation, which can be very helpful to me as well as to our team because I am hopeful to get the valuable knowledge by the temporary movement in our head office.
