Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points: the reason for the request, the remote work plan, and the request for assistance. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. The explanation for wanting to work at the head office is vague, focusing on general goals rather than specific professional development. The explanation of how work will be managed is also quite brief and lacks detail regarding the transition of responsibilities. While the tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, the content needs more elaboration to fully satisfy the requirements of the task at a higher band level.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into short paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical progression between ideas is sometimes disjointed. For example, the transition between the request for the transfer and the explanation of remote work is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic or slightly misused, such as 'Regarding, i am outside mostly' which is unclear. The use of paragraphing is present but the internal flow within paragraphs could be improved to better connect the writer's intentions with the proposed solutions.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are some awkward collocations, such as 'achieve higher outcomes in every stream' and 'work more six months'. The phrasing 'maintaining productivity' and 'prompt reply' is appropriate, but the overall range is limited to common, everyday business terms. To reach a higher band, the student should aim to use more sophisticated vocabulary related to professional environments and demonstrate better control over word choice to avoid slightly unnatural phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The letter contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include missing articles ('at our head quarters'), incorrect verb forms ('work more six months'), and punctuation errors, such as the lack of a space after the period in the first paragraph. Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage also show inconsistency. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader and indicate a lack of control over more complex grammatical structures.
