Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: explaining the reason for the request, proposing a replacement, and asking for help with formalities. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of why you want to work in the USA is quite brief and could have been expanded with more professional detail. Additionally, the tone is occasionally inconsistent with a formal business letter, particularly in the opening and the way the request for help is phrased. To improve, ensure that your ideas are fully extended and that the tone remains consistently professional throughout the correspondence.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical progression, moving from the purpose of the email to the proposal and finally the request for assistance. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Moreover' and 'So', to link ideas. However, the paragraphing is not fully developed; the text is essentially one large block, which makes it harder to read. To reach a higher band, ensure you use clear paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, the body points, and the closing. Additionally, some transitions are a bit mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'I am writing with a gratitude', which affects the flow of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, but there are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors. For example, 'I am writing with a gratitude' is unnatural; 'I am writing to express my gratitude' would be more appropriate. Similarly, 'intended me to avail this chance' is not standard English usage. You also have some minor errors in word formation, such as 'personals' instead of 'personnel' or 'professionals'. To improve, focus on learning common collocations used in professional business English and proofread to ensure that your word choices are precise and natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

Your writing contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Issues include incorrect verb tenses (e.g., 'I receive an email' instead of 'I received'), missing articles ('in USA office'), and punctuation errors, such as unnecessary commas and capitalization issues (e.g., 'The responsive email'). The sentence 'I from past five years I was doing efforts' is grammatically incorrect and should be 'I have been making efforts for the past five years'. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage will significantly improve your score.
