You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Thomas,

I have been working as an accountant in Mississauga branch of your company from last two years. I have learned many accounting skill and database management during this period. However, I wanted to gain more accounting knowledge by serving in your head office in New York.

I wanted to serve in head office for six months to gain knowledge in different locality with more demanding skills. As the head office have more clients from different sectors. it will be a great opportunity to learn their tactics. This will help me serving more diligently in the local branch afterwards.

I know it can be difficult to manage my work in my absence. But as you are aware that we have additional four internship staff members from last month. They are now getting familiar to daily routine activities. Hopefully, together they can manage to fulfill my duties with your guidance.

It would be really appreciated, if you will give me a chance to serve head office for six months.
