You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Adam,

I am writing this letter to make a request to let me work in the company's head office while I am in the United States.

Considering the situation, I am leaving for the United States for six months to stay at my brother's house. I would like to continue working in the company's head office until I am there. Moreover, I will be happy to be part of the team, and I acknowledge that the team is looking for a senior marketing manager, for which I am perfectly suitable.

In terms of arrangements, I have already planned everything with my colleague to cover my part in my absence. Additionally, they will take care of my presentation, meetings, and assignments.

I am confident that, as the HR of the company, you have the ability to transfer me to the head office for half of the year. I kindly request that you arrange that position for me before I leave.
