Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly state the purpose of the request, explain how your workload will be managed, and ask for assistance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention video conferencing to manage your work, you could have provided more specific details about how your current projects would be handed over or monitored. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager, though some phrasing is slightly unnatural, such as 'the foreign country' instead of specifying a location or 'head office'.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your request. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'Thus', and 'Moreover' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and minor grammatical errors that make some sentences feel disjointed. For example, the transition between your achievements and your request for the transfer could be smoother. The use of referencing is generally clear, but the overall structure could benefit from more sophisticated linking words to improve the flow between the introduction and the body paragraphs.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'revenue', 'reputation', and 'coordinating'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'interest regarding to work' (should be 'interest in working'), 'awarded with best employee' (should be 'awarded the title of best employee'), and 'enrolled me in their workforce' (should be 'facilitate my placement'). These errors do not prevent communication, but they indicate a need for more attention to standard English collocations and formal business terminology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is good. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'projects which are leading by me' (should be 'which are being led by me'), 'I would like you help' (should be 'I would like your help'), and 'in order to enrolled me' (should be 'in order to enroll me'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not impede the overall meaning of your request. Focusing on verb forms and preposition usage will help improve your accuracy.
