Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: explaining the reason for the transfer, suggesting how the work will be managed, and requesting assistance. However, the second bullet point regarding how your work could be done while away is underdeveloped. You mention the project timeline but do not explicitly explain how your current responsibilities in Bangalore will be handled or covered during your absence. To improve, ensure each bullet point is fully expanded with specific details. The tone is generally appropriate for a professional request, though the closing 'Your's obediently' is not suitable for a business letter to a manager; 'Sincerely' or 'Best regards' would be more professional.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'However' and 'Therefore' to link ideas. However, the paragraphing is slightly disjointed, and the transition between the project details and the request for the transfer could be smoother. Some sentences are a bit abrupt, and the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect your personal situation with the professional request more fluidly. Overall, the message is easy to follow, but the cohesion is somewhat mechanical.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'collaborating', 'crucial project', and 'work-life balance'. However, there are several spelling errors, such as 'intrest', 'developrer', 'Banglore', 'cruical', 'differnce', 'results', 'apporve', and 'successfullly'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. While the meaning remains clear, the high frequency of spelling mistakes limits your score in this criterion. To reach a higher band, focus on proofreading your work to eliminate these basic orthographic slips and try to incorporate more precise professional collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'Since past 10 months, I have been collaborating...'. There are several grammatical inaccuracies, including 'Since past 10 months' (should be 'For the past 10 months'), 'As a results' (should be 'As a result'), and 'looking forward to hear' (should be 'looking forward to hearing'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of '&' instead of 'and' and missing commas. While these errors do not impede overall communication, they occur frequently throughout the text, which prevents a higher score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent verb forms.
