You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Mathew,

I am writing this letter to kindly request you for granting a permission to work in the USA' head office.

I have been keen to get this opportunity because working in the USA's head office is a dream of many employees. The team in head office has excellent skills and by working with them would enable me to learn something new and productive for our home branch.

My tasks would be done by myself through our digital application as our company has the policy to allow employees to work remote. In addition, I already diversify less important work to my colleagues and they are ready to cooperate.

I urge you to mail the foreign head office for this arrangement and your recommendation will be my real support. This is because you are already famous in the firm and superiors always acknowledge your decisions.

Thanking you for your kind attention to this matter, and if you want to ask any questions related to this I would willing reply.
