Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: explaining the reason for the request, outlining how work will be managed, and asking for assistance. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive, particularly regarding the benefits of the transfer. To improve, ensure that each point is distinct and fully expanded. While the purpose is clear, the overall structure of the arguments could be more concise to avoid redundancy, which would help in achieving a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into clear paragraphs, which is a positive feature. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'further more' and 'also' are used frequently to link ideas, but the flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'if there is any work which require in person present which i will give all the list'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the logical flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'heighly', 'benificial', 'proffesional', 'undarstanding', 'technicall', 'seniour', 'visoin', 'coulleague', 'douring', 'recomandation'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. While you attempt to use professional terminology like 'international operations' and 'temporary transfer', the persistent spelling mistakes and occasional word choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'in person present') limit your score. Focusing on proofreading and learning the correct spelling of common professional terms will significantly improve your performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some new venture which is launching'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'I am writing for Requesting'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While your meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents a higher score. You should focus on mastering basic sentence patterns and checking for subject-verb agreement before moving on to more complex structures.
