Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The letter addresses all three bullet points, but the development is quite limited. You explain the desire to gain experience and mention that work could be done accurately, but the explanation lacks detail. For instance, you do not specify how your current responsibilities would be managed or delegated, which is a key part of the task. The tone is also somewhat inconsistent for a formal request to a manager, particularly with the request for housing, which feels slightly abrupt. To improve, ensure you provide more concrete details regarding your work plan and maintain a professional, persuasive tone throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The letter lacks clear paragraphing, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. While there is a basic attempt to link sentences, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and often repetitive (e.g., starting multiple sentences with 'My purpose' or 'If you'). The flow between the request for the transfer and the request for housing is abrupt. To reach a higher band, you should organise your letter into distinct paragraphs: one for the introduction and purpose, one for the work plan, and one for the closing request. Using a wider variety of linking words would also improve the logical flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'regarding to spend' instead of 'regarding my request to spend' and 'numerous knowledge' instead of 'extensive knowledge'. The word 'opportunity' is used four times in a short space, which limits the range of your expression. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the errors in collocation (e.g., 'prove myself in front all the company') indicate a limited range of vocabulary that is just about adequate for the task.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('My purpose to spends'), incorrect verb forms ('I known a lot of senior'), and missing articles or prepositions ('working on head office', 'stay another country'). The sentence structures are mostly simple, and the few attempts at complex sentences contain errors (e.g., 'if u arrange this opportunity for me i will be very thankful'). Improving your control over basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would significantly enhance your score.
