You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Sir

I am writing to express my interest for working in Head office for next six months. I recently received an email from my friend who works in our head office and in that email he informed me that a project on substation design will start from next month and continue for 6 months in Head office. From beginning of my career, I had interest in substation design. Therefore I want to grab this opportunity.

During my absence Mr John can carry out my works since his ongoing project will be finished by this month so he will be able to take over my responsibilities. In addition, I will help him whenever is needed.

I would be grateful if you could arrange the transportation and accomodation cost since as per company policies it can be arranged if manager permits.

Thank you for considering my request. I am looking forward to get postive response.
