Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points: the reason for the request, the handover plan, and the request for assistance. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally unclear. For instance, the explanation of how work will be managed is confusing, as the instructions to the manager are contradictory (e.g., 'please do my work' vs 'I will do work from home'). While the purpose of the letter is clear, the tone is inconsistent and lacks the professional formality expected in a business context. The response covers the requirements, but the lack of clarity in the proposed work arrangement prevents a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter is organized into short paragraphs, but the logical flow between sentences is often disjointed. Cohesive devices are used, but they are frequently misused or placed awkwardly, such as 'Although I will checks my work... but you have to do some work'. The referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the proposed plan for the handover. The transition between the request for the transfer and the explanation of the work duties is abrupt, which impacts the overall coherence of the message.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, relying on simple structures to convey meaning. There are several instances of incorrect word choice or awkward phrasing, such as 'do some work as a manually' and 'it would be count in my experience'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of the ability to use more sophisticated or precise business-related terminology. Spelling errors, such as 'mails' (when referring to emails) and 'i' (lowercase), also detract from the professional quality of the writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The text contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement ('I hope you doing well', 'I will checks my work'), tense usage, and sentence structure. Punctuation is also problematic, with unnecessary commas and missing capital letters. While simple sentences are generally constructed correctly, attempts at more complex structures often result in errors. The frequency of these errors is high, which significantly impacts the overall accuracy of the response.
