You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away

Dear Patrick,

I am writing you to request permission to work temporarily from our company’s head office in Canada.

First of all, I would like to thank you for this opportunity stepping as a Director for sales. One of the reason, I would prefer gaining an experience at head office location is to shadow our sales director there in the Missisauga headquarters just for six months.

In my absence, my work will be covered by Samuel and I will be in constant touch if anything urgent is needed. I have prepared a Power point presentation which will be led by Samuel in next quarter end meeting.

I would appreciate if someone in Canadian head office can arrange a stay nearby to the location. I'll be heading straight to Missisauga for paper work.

Kindly let me know your point of view and I'll plan my stay accordingly. Appreciate all the help.
