Dear manager,

I wish you are doing well. I want to request for a temparory transfer of six months to head office in other country.

I want to go their beacause as you can see we are facing lot of truble in our system from previous monthes and their is zero improvement in it which results in, our compony stokes are in loose. Thats why I have created an software that can help us out to find the problem and what can we done about it. To do that, I have to visit the head office in abroad so I can fix this issue it can take time that's why I am asking transfer for 6 months. I can insure you that i will come back with positive results. Dont were about the work in my absence as I have already divided my work beetween my colleges.

I just need a favour from you to arranging my transfer to make it possible.

I hope you will understand and look for your response.

Thank You,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt: explaining the reason for the transfer, describing how your work will be covered, and requesting assistance. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding the software is a bit vague, and the tone is occasionally too informal for a professional request to a manager (e.g., 'I just need a favour'). To improve, ensure your ideas are more clearly articulated and maintain a consistently formal, professional tone throughout the letter.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical sections, which helps the reader follow your request. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. For example, the transition between the problem with the system and your software solution is abrupt. Additionally, the paragraphing is not fully utilized; the entire body of the letter is contained in one block, which makes it harder to read. Using clear paragraph breaks for each bullet point would significantly improve the structure and flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'temparory', 'beacause', 'truble', 'compony', 'stokes', 'insure', 'beetween', 'colleges'). These errors are noticeable and detract from the professional quality of the letter. While you attempt to use some relevant business terminology, the range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and expanding your range of professional vocabulary to express your ideas with more precision and sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'I wish you are doing well' (should be 'I hope you are doing well'), 'I want to request for' (unnecessary preposition), and 'what can we done' (incorrect passive voice). Sentence structures are mostly simple, and there is a lack of complex sentence variety. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation require attention. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and correct verb forms will help improve your accuracy.
