Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining your motivation, outlining a plan for your workload, and requesting assistance. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, while you mention that your work will be divided among teammates, you could have provided more specific details on how you will ensure quality control or handover documentation. The letter covers the requirements, but the depth of the explanation could be improved to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'Moreover', and 'However'. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where sentence structure could be improved for better flow. For example, the transition between the motivation and the workload plan is functional but could be smoother. Paragraphing is used correctly to separate the different aspects of your request, which helps the reader follow your argument easily.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, such as 'enhance my skills', 'management operations', and 'selection process'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'will polished my knowledge' (should be 'will polish') and 'impact at my CV' (should be 'impact on my CV'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over verb forms and prepositional usage to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'I am writing to show my interest working' (should be 'interest in working'), 'I can be able to' (redundant; 'I will be able to' or 'I can'), and 'this opportunity will be proved beneficial' (should be 'will prove beneficial'). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs.
