You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Mr. Smith,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to request you to suggest my name in the upcomimg list of individuals who will get a chance to spend six months working at the head office in London.

I would like to spend my six months in ourcompany's head office to gain experience and enhance my skills, so I could apply them here with my team. As this international experience is a vital opportunity towards my career progression. Since I am a team leader, I have many responsibilities here as well, but I will be in regular contact with my team to supervise them. I will also assign all the task to the particular member and also keep following up with our clients.

I am very grateful to you for your reference, as this overseas exposure will play a significant role in my personal as well as professional life. Thank you for taking my request into consideration.
