You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• explain why you want to work in the company's head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it

Dear Kulveer,

I am Writing this letter to inform you that, I am interested to work for 6 months in our company's head office in California.

I have been working in this company for four years. I gained valuable

experience in different things such as sales, customer service.

But I think i can enhance my skills by joining the head office. Which is in California. It is good for our location too because when I return with valuable knowledge I can use in my work.

My friend has joined our company two months ago, while i am away he can take the responsibility that I use to take. With his experience in this field, he is the perfect replacement for me.

Apart from that I also need some help to refer me to head office. With your reference it is likely that they will accept my application.
