Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: the reason for the request, the plan for covering current duties, and the request for assistance. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of why you want to work in the head office is quite brief and lacks professional depth. While the plan for remote work is mentioned, it is not fully elaborated upon to reassure the manager. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal request, though some phrasing is slightly informal or awkward, such as 'I need a small favor from your side'. To improve, provide more specific professional benefits for both yourself and the company.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the proposal and the final request. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, the use of 'While' at the start of sentences is repetitive and occasionally used incorrectly, such as in 'While I am present in New york'. Additionally, some transitions between sentences are abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used to create smoother flow between ideas would elevate the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and sophistication expected at higher bands. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'provide lots of projects' (should be 'delivered' or 'managed'), 'leaving in the New York' (should be 'living'), and 'they are agree to having me' (should be 'they have agreed to my presence'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited to fairly basic professional terminology. To improve, focus on using more precise business collocations and ensuring correct verb forms and prepositions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. Frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text, such as 'I writing this letter' (missing auxiliary verb), 'since 10 years' (should be 'for 10 years'), and 'check the team is doing perfect ot not' (should be 'perfectly or not'). Subject-verb agreement and tense usage are also problematic in several places. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common tense errors would significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
