Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain that the training would benefit both the company and your own knowledge, describe staying connected through Teams or Zoom, and ask your manager to approve the request and help with arrangements. The purpose is clear and relevant. However, the reason for spending six months at the head office is not fully developed: the letter describes an automation training course, but does not clearly explain why working there for the full period is necessary or what you hope to achieve there. Your plan for maintaining your workload is also somewhat general, with no detail about how projects or meetings would be covered. Clarifying these points and making the request more specific would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces the opportunity, explains its benefits, discusses work during the absence, and ends with requests for support. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and links such as “Not only … but also” and “Meanwhile” show an attempt to connect ideas. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some features of more flexible cohesion. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “Although it would be tough for me because of the timezones vary in germany” does not link smoothly to the preceding sentence, and “moreover” introduces the request for contacts without a clear relationship to the approval request. Use simpler, more precise transitions and make each paragraph’s progression explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “automation training,” “current projects,” “head office,” and “transportation,” so the reader can understand the main message. There are also attempts at more specific workplace language. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “worklist,” “desired meeting,” “automation stuff,” and “keen interested.” These reduce precision and make parts of the letter sound less professional. Spelling and written forms also need attention, including “headquarter” and “germany.” Build a more reliable range of formal workplace expressions and check collocations and word forms; this would make your meaning clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including the contrast in “Although it would be tough for me…” and the paired structure “Not only … but also.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the letter. For example, “is going to held” needs a passive form (“is going to be held”), while “I received invitation” needs an article. In “because our industry more focusing,” the verb phrase is incomplete, and “the timezones vary” does not fit the sentence structure as written. There are also punctuation and spacing problems that make sentence boundaries less clear. Review verb forms, articles, and clause construction, then proofread punctuation while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
