Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main purpose by requesting a six-month placement in Pakistan and giving reasons such as gaining experience, learning skills, and developing your career. You also ask your manager for help. However, the explanation of how your work would continue while you are away is not sufficiently clear: “I will do dual task” and the reference to emailing presentations and reports do not explain which duties you would handle remotely or how they would be covered. Some reasons, such as improving the company’s reputation, are asserted rather than explained. To make the request more complete, clarify your proposed work arrangements and develop the benefits of the placement with specific details.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter follows a generally understandable order: you introduce yourself, explain the proposed transfer, give reasons, and close with a request. This gives the reader a basic sense of the message. However, the ideas are crowded into one main paragraph, and repeated use of “Sir” interrupts the progression and makes the letter sound mechanical. Connections between points are also sometimes unclear, particularly between the training programme, your proposed duties, and the benefits to the company. Use separate paragraphs for your reasons, work arrangements, and request, and link ideas with clear transitions such as “In addition” or “While I am there.”

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “head office,” “training program,” “transfer,” “experience,” and “reports.” These terms help communicate the general purpose of the letter. However, the range is limited, and several phrases are unnatural or unclear, such as “do dual task,” “main agenda,” and “positive action from your side.” There are also spelling and word-choice problems, including “Saudia Arabia” and “head about,” which may distract the reader. Aim for precise, natural workplace language and choose expressions that clearly describe your proposal, such as continuing specific duties remotely or requesting assistance with the transfer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The letter relies mainly on short, simple statements, with limited control of more varied sentence structures. Errors occur frequently and sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. For example, “I am Amina Tariq employee working in one of the franchise” lacks clear sentence structure and article/plural control, while “I want to grow my career, curiosity to learn new skills” does not form a complete, parallel sentence. Punctuation and spacing also need attention, as in “good spirits.I” and “years.Sir.” Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and check articles, verb forms, and punctuation before submitting.
