Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the main purpose by requesting a six-month placement at the head office and giving a reason: you want to gain experience and fulfil your ambition. You also ask your manager for help. However, the explanation of how your work could be done while away is not really developed. Saying “I will still working in the same company” explains that you would remain employed, but not how duties would be covered, transferred, or completed remotely. The repeated promises to work honestly do not add much task-relevant detail, and the request is not always clearly expressed. To strengthen the letter, explain the practical arrangement you propose and make the benefits of the placement more specific.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
The reader can identify your request and follow the general topic, but the letter has little clear progression. Most points are placed in one long paragraph, and the same ideas recur: you want to move to the head office, remain with the company, and receive help. Phrases such as “Actually” and “please” do not create clear links between distinct points, while the repeated “i will” statements make the message feel list-like. Organise the letter into short paragraphs—for example, your reason for applying, your proposed work arrangement, and your request for assistance. Use a few clear linking expressions and avoid repeating the same request so that each paragraph advances the purpose.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the basic request, with relevant phrases such as “head office,” “six moths,” and “same company.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “work,” “head office,” and “help.” Spelling and word-form errors, including “comanys,” “experinnce,” “employe,” and “sincerly,” are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Some expressions are also unnatural for a formal workplace letter, such as “give just for working in head office” and “good deed with me.” Aim for precise, conventional business language and check spelling carefully; this will make your meaning clearer and your tone more appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The letter relies mainly on simple statements and repeated sentence patterns, with limited control of more complex structures. Frequent errors affect sentence accuracy, although the overall request can still be understood. For example, “Its my humble request i want to work” needs clearer sentence boundaries and a possessive form, while “I will still working” should use a consistent verb pattern, such as “I will continue working.” Other examples include “i am still employe” and “please help me to shifting,” which show problems with verb forms and sentence construction. Practise forming complete sentences, using capital letters and full stops consistently, and checking verb patterns after modal verbs and expressions such as “help me.”
