Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain your interest in the Canadian head office, propose working online and using Google meetings, and ask your manager to contact the Canadian manager for approval. The reasons—learning new things and seeing different business techniques—are relevant, but they are not developed in much detail. The opening also makes the purpose less clear by combining your sister’s wedding plans with the request to work abroad; clarify that the visit and the six-month work arrangement are connected, or explain their relationship. Your request for help is present, though specifying what arrangements or approval you need would make it more complete. Overall, the main purpose is understandable, but some points are clearer and fuller than others.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall shape: an opening explaining your plans, a paragraph about how you would work remotely, and a final request followed by a polite closing. This logical arrangement helps the reader follow the main points. You also use linking expressions such as “As well as” and “If you need any further information” to connect ideas. However, the first paragraph moves quickly from your sister’s wedding to your promotion and then to the head-office request, so the relationship between these points is not always clear. Some transitions, including “As well as,” feel mechanical or do not precisely express the connection. To strengthen progression, give each paragraph a focused purpose and use more direct links between the reason for the placement and your proposed work arrangements.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough task-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “head office,” “position,” “techniques,” “regular position,” and “Google meetings.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less clear or professional: “weading,” “thank ful,” “buisness,” and “approvel.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “work of our head office” and “show how used different techniques.” These issues fit a performance where vocabulary is sufficient for the basic message but errors are noticeable and can cause difficulty. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common workplace collocations, for example “work at the head office,” “gain experience,” and “obtain approval.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the reader can generally understand your plans. However, errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and prepositions are frequent enough to affect clarity. For example, “I am writing this letter to informing you” should use an infinitive after “to,” while “I want to work of our head office” has an incorrect preposition and structure. The sentence beginning “I need some help from you, if you are contact…” also combines clauses inaccurately. There is some variety, but complex attempts are often not controlled, and several sentences need clearer grammatical framing. Practise accurate infinitive and modal patterns, and separate requests into complete, direct sentences.
