Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain your interest in learning AI skills at the head office, describe staying in contact with your team and completing work remotely, and ask your manager to contact the CEO and recommend you. The purpose is clear and the ideas are relevant. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, the career benefit is explained, but the practical plan for managing projects across locations is vague, and the request for help could specify what arrangements or approval you need from your manager. Clarifying how responsibilities and communication would be handled during the six months would make the proposal more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: the opening explains your motivation, the next paragraph describes how you would work remotely, and the final paragraph makes a request. This helps the reader follow the main purpose. Some linking is mechanical or unclear, however. Phrases such as “The first one” and “So, At last” do not create smooth transitions, while “which will help me to balance between two different work places” is not clearly connected to the preceding sentence. Use clearer paragraph links and make each paragraph develop one main point. More precise referencing—for example, stating exactly what “there” refers to—would also improve cohesion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the situation, including “career ladder,” “highly qualified,” “cooperative,” and “virtual meeting.” These choices communicate your interest and proposed arrangements. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “intend you,” “move career ladder,” and “balance between two different work places.” Spelling errors, including “convinent,” “conatct,” “recommmended,” and “look forword,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for conventional professional expressions and check spelling carefully; this will make your meaning more precise and your tone more appropriate for a letter to a manager.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “if I get a chance to work with them then I can learn.” The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors and punctuation problems remain. For example, “this a great opportunity” is missing a verb, and “I will complete my project and do my work from home . which will help” incorrectly separates a dependent clause into a fragment. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “So, At last.” Review articles and verb forms, and divide long or joined ideas into complete sentences. More accurate control of these patterns would make the letter easier to read.
