Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you explain your interest in the Canadian head office, describe remote work and virtual meetings, and ask your manager to assist. The reasons—gaining international experience and learning about global operations—are relevant, and the letter’s purpose is clear. This meets the lower-band expectation of covering the task, while the specific benefits are not yet fully developed: for example, explain how the experience would help your current role or the company. The plan for duties is also somewhat unclear because you say you will complete them remotely, then mention a colleague handling tasks that require on-site presence. Clarifying the division of responsibilities and making the request more specific would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The letter has a clear overall progression: it introduces the request, gives reasons, explains how duties could be managed, and closes by asking for help. Paragraphing supports this sequence, and linking expressions such as “Regarding my ongoing duties” and “Moreover” help guide the reader. The main weakness is that some connections between ideas are awkward or unclear. In the second paragraph, the sentence beginning “Having working…” runs into the next idea, and “It resulting” does not clearly connect the expected benefits to the preceding explanation. The relationship between remote work and a colleague covering on-site tasks could also be signposted more explicitly. Use complete sentences and clearer transitions to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for a workplace request, including “international experience,” “global operations,” “management skills,” and “virtually.” These choices communicate the main ideas and show an attempt to use topic-specific language. However, several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems reduce precision: “upgrade myself” is unnatural in this context, “get knowledge” is less idiomatic than “gain knowledge,” and “enchance” is misspelled. “Valuable connections” is relevant, but the benefits could be expressed more precisely. Aim for natural professional collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; this would make the letter sound more fluent and appropriately formal.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex structures, including a reason clause with “Having…” and a sentence describing how duties would be handled. The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “Having working” needs a corrected participle construction, and “It resulting” is not a complete, correctly formed clause. There are also errors in “I would really delighted” and “I will look forward for you response,” involving verb structure and sentence patterns. Punctuation in the long sentence beginning “Having…” also needs attention. Practise forming complete clauses and checking verb forms, articles, and prepositions; greater control would make your complex sentences clearer.
