Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the main purpose by saying you want to work at the head office for six months, and you give a reason: gaining professional experience and improving your language fluency. However, the task is only partially covered. The explanation of how your work would continue is limited to saying that colleagues are willing to do the tasks; you do not explain how duties would be divided, monitored, or handed over. You also ask for permission, but do not clearly request help with arranging the placement. The response contains 109 words, below the required 150, which limits the development of your ideas. Add practical details and expand each bullet point to make the request complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a recognisable order: you state your request, explain your motivation, mention your duties, and ask for permission. This gives the reader a basic sense of the message. However, the progression is not consistently clear, and some linking phrases are awkward or inaccurate, such as “First off all Before planning to work.” The ideas about your colleagues and your manager’s role are compressed into one section, so the arrangement does not clearly distinguish your work plan from your request for assistance. Use separate paragraphs for your reasons, the proposed work arrangements, and your request, with straightforward links such as “To ensure continuity” and “I would be grateful if you could help arrange this.”
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “Head Office,” “professionals,” “language fluency,” and “permission,” so the basic meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited, and several spelling or word-choice errors make the letter less clear or less professional. For example, “well-know professionals” and “excellet experices” obscure the intended meaning, while “do that all tasks” is not a natural collocation. “Carrier” is also used where you mean “career.” Aim for accurate workplace expressions such as “gain international experience,” “maintain my responsibilities,” and “coordinate a handover.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural collocations would make your message more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response mainly uses simple sentence patterns, with an attempt at a longer sentence to explain your motivation. However, errors are frequent and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “iam writing” and “Its my dream,” where capitalisation and apostrophes are needed, and “which helps,” where the verb does not agree with the plural idea of working with professionals. The sentence beginning “So i have discussed” also has an incomplete or unclear construction, and punctuation is inconsistent, especially in “First off all Before planning to work.” Practise forming clear sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example: “I have discussed my responsibilities with my colleagues, and they are willing to cover them while I am away.”
