Student answer (Band 6.5)
In curfew, Young children are prohibited in some areas of United State during specific hours of night if they are not in supervision of an adult. While it would not be appealing for those children, safety is biggest concern behind it. I totally agree to the context because children can also be easy prey for juveniles crime.
Commencely, children are considered vulnerable as a target of criminal minded people and serial killers. Even though US counts among one of the safest countries yet at specific times of curfew it is safer to accompany an adult. This is because they have better knowledge and experiences life than children and their reflexes could be more powerful in situation f emergency rather than child. For example, a recent report suggested, chances of falling for kidnapping trap dramatically declined by two-fold when government enforced law of supervision for kids under 10 years of age.
Another considerable reason for holding this opinion is adverse exposure to crime based experiences in childhood give rise to juvenile criminals. To start with, due to pumping horses in adolescence, some of the kids find drugs, alcohol, torture fascinating under certain influences. Consequently, not only to experience one on one taste of these deterimental crimes but also to feel thrilled, they trap themselves in never ending loop of crimes Strarts from childhood to go forever. This is why adult supervision is highly significant to block interactions from wrong people.
All in all, although imposing restriction on childhood is not right at some extend but priority is safety and security. By monitoring kid's activities and surroundings, adult can sniff possible angers to vulnerable child. I believe it is fair enough to implement curfew, in which they cannot go alone.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating a position in favor of curfews. The ideas are relevant, focusing on safety and the prevention of juvenile delinquency. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat uneven. While the first body paragraph provides a clear argument regarding safety, the second paragraph is less coherent, with some confusing phrasing regarding 'pumping horses' (likely a misuse of an idiom) and the link between adolescence and crime. The conclusion restates the position effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that all arguments are fully explained with clear, logical steps rather than relying on slightly unclear generalizations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Commencely' (though this is not standard English), 'To start with', and 'Consequently'. However, the use of some linking words is mechanical or slightly awkward. Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors or non-standard phrasing, which makes the progression of ideas feel slightly disjointed at times. Improving the variety and accuracy of transition signals would help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but shows limitations. There are several instances of non-standard word choices or collocations, such as 'pumping horses' (likely intended to mean 'rushing hormones'), 'deterimental', and 'sniff possible angers'. While the meaning is generally clear, these errors indicate a lack of precision. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to discuss the topic, but it lacks the sophistication required for higher bands. Focusing on learning common collocations and checking the spelling of academic terms would significantly improve the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('in curfew', 'in situation f emergency'), incorrect prepositions ('at some extend'), and subject-verb agreement issues. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and occur throughout the text. The attempt at complex structures is present, but the accuracy is inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, particularly the use of articles and prepositions, before attempting more complex grammatical forms.
