Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is indeed true that emergency restriction is critical for any country. In several area of the US, a movement restriction is enforced under which young people
are not to go outside after a specified time at night unless they are accompanied by mature person. In my
opinion I completely agree with this trend and think in same manner. My opinion will be justified further
in following paragraphs.
Discussing the reasons why youngster is not allowed without guardian .The major reason is that adolescents are immature and do not know how to
react in the restriction. By this I mean that teens are Vulnerable to crime. This might be dangerous to them, adult supervision helps protect them from crimes. Moreover, in a lockdown, a grown up can make responsible decision and ensure the juvenile safety.
Additionally, teenagers are more likely to make poor decisions when they are with same age people without supervision of parents. For instance, One of my friends son stayed outside in movement restriction area, in that no one allowed to talked in there mother tongue. However he is not understand the situation and speak in own language and caugh by the terrorist.
Moreover, In prohibition on movement area strangers are hide behind the trees that is not easily recognised by youth. So that it might life threatening for them.
All in all it can be said that it is vice decision that minor people would not allow to stay on roads at night during Emergency restriction regions. It is only way to maintain teens safety and security as they are not able to take decision on the spot.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion in favor of curfews. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While the first body paragraph touches on the vulnerability of teenagers, the second paragraph introduces a confusing and irrelevant anecdote about a friend's son and 'terrorists,' which does not logically support the argument regarding curfews. The ideas are somewhat repetitive, and the reasoning lacks depth. To improve, you should focus on providing clear, logical arguments that directly relate to the topic of youth safety and parental responsibility, rather than introducing distracting or unclear narratives.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Moreover', 'Additionally', 'All in all'), they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt. Furthermore, the internal logic of the second body paragraph is difficult to follow due to the confusing example provided. To achieve a higher score, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and that ideas follow a logical progression, using linking words more naturally to connect your thoughts.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'mature person' instead of 'adult' or 'guardian', and 'vice decision' instead of 'wise decision'. Some terms are used incorrectly, such as 'emergency restriction' to describe a standard curfew. To improve, focus on learning collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary. Avoid repeating basic words and try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms to express your ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('he is not understand'), article usage ('in several area'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, which occasionally impedes the reader's understanding. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and pluralization. Consistent practice with basic grammar rules will significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
