Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the curfew, but the development of ideas is limited and sometimes confusing. While you state that curfews are good for the 'young generation,' the reasoning is repetitive and lacks clear, logical support. For instance, the argument about 'extra other activities' inside the house is vague. The second paragraph attempts to present an opposing view, but the connection between 'exploring outside culture' and the mention of 'kidnapping cases' is disjointed and lacks a clear link to the curfew debate. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on one clear argument supported by a specific, well-explained example.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive start. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear. Transitions between sentences are frequently missing or used incorrectly, such as 'for instant a A girl or boy'. The use of cohesive devices is mechanical and sometimes inaccurate, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. Referencing is also inconsistent; for example, the shift from discussing the benefits of curfews to the dangers of kidnapping lacks a smooth transition. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'on the other hand') would help improve the flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect word choices, such as 'time zone' used instead of 'time limit' or 'curfew hours', and 'senior members of their family' instead of 'adults' or 'guardians'. Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'familes' and 'greet'. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise vocabulary related to the topic and ensure that you are using words in their correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'childrens are not allowed'), incorrect sentence structures, and punctuation errors. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'In United states the kind kidnapping cases are very high rfrom past few years and parents are giving enough amount of money to kidnapper to release their children from any danger.' You rely heavily on simple sentence structures. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb tenses.
