Nowadays curfew has become a topic of discussion as some cities of US became a part of curfew due to several reasons, especially youngsters are not allowed to go out of their home after a particular time during night. This essay will discuss its reasons before giving my opinion.

For the past two to three month it has been seen that some areas in US have been restricted for outing of teenagers. As per public point of view this implementation has come to be fruitful . Majorly every individual is living very impatience and stressful life these days, that’s why youngster especially teenagers are becoming addicted to drug and other intoxicating substances. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the reasons for curfews and providing an opinion. However, the essay fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly limits the depth of the argument. While the position is clear, the ideas are somewhat under-developed. The explanation regarding why teenagers turn to drugs is a bit generalized, and the connection between the curfew and the 'downfall of the nation' is not fully explored. To improve, you should expand on your examples and provide more detailed reasoning to reach the required length and demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'Moreover' and 'For example', they are occasionally used in a mechanical way. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'thins can save their life', where the pronoun reference is ambiguous. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is functional, but the overall flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly between sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'living very impatience and stressful life' and 'disturbances others'. Some phrases are repetitive or slightly unnatural, such as 'application of this rule'. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more accurate collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary. For instance, instead of 'fruitful', consider using 'effective' or 'beneficial' in the context of policy implementation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'some cities of US became a part of curfew', 'For the past two to three month', and 'very citizens over there'. There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage throughout the text. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors suggests a lack of control over complex structures. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with plurals and prepositions, will help improve your score.
