Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the United Sates of America, few areas has been imposed by a curfew and adults has been told to give comapny to teenagers and not allow them to go outside in the dark without them. I agree to the statement and this essay shall discuss my opinion on the agreement.
First and formost reason is the safety of the young generation. During a curfew chances of violence are more in the night because goons can find easy escape in the night compare to the day. Moreover, teenagres are easy target to attack and by harming children, bad people show their power to the society. For instance, in the late evening if teens are out at shop with their family or adults nobody will come near to them on the other hand if they are alone they can get even robbed and harm.
To add more, to influence teen agers are more easier than adults. During the curfews, dealing of weapons is also increases and as guns are allowed in some areas of the USA, If teens are out without their gurdian they can get negative thoughts and other people can influence them just by having a conversation with them. That is why one muture person should be with young ones either it is day or night.
To conclude, the law imposed to company the teenagers during nights are in the favour of them and it ensures safety and security of the area. And young generations are more vulnerable to comapre with the adults so that it for their good suring nights.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by stating a clear position in favor of curfews. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention safety and the vulnerability of teenagers, the arguments are repetitive and lack depth. For instance, the point about 'goons' and 'dealing of weapons' is a bit generalized and lacks a logical connection to the curfew itself. To improve, focus on providing more nuanced reasoning, such as the impact on crime statistics or the balance between personal freedom and public safety. The essay covers the main requirements, but the supporting points could be more sophisticated to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices like 'First and formost', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the referencing is unclear, such as in the final paragraph where the phrase 'in the favour of them' is slightly ambiguous. The progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, but the use of cohesive devices could be more varied and natural to improve the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat limited and repetitive. You use basic terms like 'bad people', 'young ones', and 'good'. There are also some noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'give comapny' instead of 'accompany' and 'dealing of weapons is also increases'. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more precise and academic vocabulary. For example, instead of 'bad people', use 'criminal elements', and instead of 'easy target', use 'vulnerable individuals'. Spelling errors like 'formost', 'teenagres', 'gurdian', and 'muture' also detract from the overall quality.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('few areas has been imposed', 'adults has been told'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing ('the law imposed to company the teenagers'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentence structures are grammatically sound before moving on to more complex forms.
