Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this rapidly changing world, it is undoubtedly true that pupils should not be allowed to stay out after a certain time at night unless someone with them. The crime rate against children is very high these days, and if they stay out at night every day, it could lead them to bad habits. This essay will elaborate on my reasons in the same way as my upcoming paragraphs, Which will lead to a logical conclusion.

To begin with, There are adequate evidence of this view which are substainable. The top-notch concrete reason is that toddlers are easy to target for some people. Anyone can do the brainwash of little once and take them with themself this leads to kidnapping and extortion. On the other hand, On many places, it happens that an individual hates someone's parents, but they take revenge on teenagers. However, children during night specially when they were alone they might think that they are free to do any thing and this converts into a serious concern some time they stole stores and involved into the fights. For instance, There are various proof present that the teenagers did crime as shop lifting and in murder cases. Recently in Edmonton 16 year old girl was found dead she was with her boyfriend and all teenagers were involved in shotting.

Furthermore, the trend of being cool in young age is normal but this coolness take them into deep dark. Additionally, there are many child who are depending on drugs like marijuana, weed, and many more drugs that are available. it happens since they are allowed to go out at night without anybody's supervision also the friend circle is bad then it is more common. For example, Edmonton hospitals are full of teenagers who were victims of these drugs and ruined their life for short time of fun. Instead of these habibts its better to imposed some rules on them to keep them safe and protect them.

To conclude this, I reiterate that there are plenty of strong favtors supporting

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The essay addresses the prompt by expressing a clear opinion in favor of curfews. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. While you provide reasons such as safety and drug prevention, the arguments are sometimes repetitive or lack logical depth. For instance, the transition from kidnapping to shoplifting is abrupt. Additionally, the conclusion is incomplete, as the final sentence cuts off mid-thought, which prevents a full summary of your position. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on one clear, well-supported argument and always complete your concluding paragraph to reinforce your main stance.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical. While you use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with' and 'Furthermore', the logical progression is hindered by awkward phrasing and sentence-level errors. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'Instead of these habibts', where the antecedent is not explicitly defined. The paragraphing is present, but the abrupt ending significantly impacts the overall coherence of the response. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that ideas follow a logical sequence will help improve your score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often imprecise. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'do the brainwash' instead of 'brainwash' or 'substainable' instead of 'substantiated'. Phrases like 'deep dark' and 'short time of fun' are informal and lack the academic tone required for IELTS. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, but the frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'habibts', 'shotting') and incorrect collocations impede the clarity of your message. Focus on learning word families and common collocations to express your ideas more accurately and naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is a major issue. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'there are many child who are depending'), article usage, and sentence fragments (e.g., 'Which will lead to a logical conclusion'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary capitalization and missing commas. These errors occur throughout the text and occasionally make it difficult for the reader to follow your intended meaning. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips before attempting more complex structures.
