Student answer (Band 6.0)
Safety is the priority. In few place in the US, people in the teens are not permitted to go out of doors during the 'Curfew, if they are not accompanied by an adult. I believe if this is due to safety reason, the action is appropriate. I will discuss more about this in the following paragraphs.
Many parts of the US are not safe these days. The crime rate is increasing everyday. Imposing curfew is for the benefit of the residence. Adult have more experience of this type of situation in compression to teenagers who may have seen such situation for the first time. For example, when there was war in my country, I got panicked because I was not aware of what was happening whereas my grand mother instantly said that its a war situation. Furthermore, recently individual in their teens are less responsible of their safety which makes it more necessary to be accompany by the adult.
Additionally, most of the crimes take place at night, when it is dark. it is easier for the criminals especially in the area where there is no electricity. Furthermore, during the night majority of the population are back in their home which makes the streets empty and quiet. This is also the other reasons why safety during the night is vital.
In my opinion, the curfew is absolutely necessary in places where the crime rate is more. Further, the government is right is restricting teenagers to go out at night without the supervision of an adult.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly stating an opinion in favor of curfews for safety reasons. The ideas are relevant, such as the lack of experience in teenagers and the increased risk of crime at night. However, the development is somewhat limited. The example provided regarding war is not entirely relevant to the context of a US curfew, and the explanation of why streets are empty at night is a bit simplistic. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced arguments, perhaps considering the counter-argument regarding personal freedom, and ensure all examples directly support the specific context of teenage curfews.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'Furthermore', 'Additionally', and 'In my opinion' to link ideas. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the transition between the war example and the point about teenage responsibility feels abrupt. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing or incorrect word choices, such as 'in compression to' (instead of 'in comparison to'), 'residence' (instead of 'residents'), and 'less responsible of their safety' (instead of 'less responsible for'). While the meaning is clear, the range is limited to common words, and there is little attempt to use less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions. Focusing on collocations and more precise terminology would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'In few place in the US' (should be 'In a few places'), 'Adult have' (should be 'Adults have'), and 'be accompany by the adult' (should be 'be accompanied by an adult'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of apostrophes and capitalization. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. You should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
