Student answer (Band 5.5)
Through different forms of print and digital media, we come across reports that people who are under 20s not permitted to go for outing after certain period of time or they can go with their guardian. After close scrutiny on this matter I opine that there nothing to criticize about it.
My inclination can be bolstered with interesting observations. To begin with, sometimes some scenarios occurs people should not go out from house because of some gangsters are there. This view exits as gangsters having guns and bombs with them and they are attacking citizens. As a result, children can be easy target for criminals and they will be injured. In addition to this, young children having curiosity to do stunts after party. As a matter of fact, young generation think they will get so much attention by doing race after drink. Hence, they caught by police officer and having a fine. I have paradigm for this, children taking their life very lightly and do not think about their parents.
Not only these, children with teen age always be with their parents and have some stories of their parents. This hypothesis is buoyed in the fact that parents have lot of things to tell their child things that will help children in their future and also some manners to live respectful life. So, children will get fame and fortune in positive way and they will not do any wrong action which will throw them in prison.
To conclude, children on this age will understand that some restriction are for their betterment not to control them. It is recommended that government should open some gardens for parents. So they can go there with their children and have some quality time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by stating a clear position in favor of curfews. However, the development of ideas is inconsistent. The first body paragraph attempts to discuss safety and reckless behavior, but the points are somewhat disjointed and lack clear examples. The second body paragraph introduces the idea of parent-child bonding, which is a relevant point but is not fully connected to the core issue of curfews. While the position is clear, the arguments are often generalized and lack the depth required for a higher band. The response covers the task requirements but needs more logical expansion of the supporting points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, phrases like 'My inclination can be bolstered with interesting observations' and 'This hypothesis is buoyed in the fact' feel unnatural and forced. There is some logical progression, but the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between 'stories of their parents' and the curfew policy is tenuous. Improved use of linking words and better paragraph unity would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and sometimes imprecise. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and incorrect collocations, such as 'do stunts after party', 'get fame and fortune in positive way', and 'children on this age'. While the student attempts to use more sophisticated vocabulary like 'scrutiny', 'inclination', and 'paradigm', these are often used incorrectly or in contexts where they do not fit naturally. The range is sufficient to communicate basic ideas, but the lack of precision and frequent errors in word choice prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including missing articles ('go out from house', 'by police officer'), incorrect verb forms ('scenarios occurs', 'they caught by police'), and awkward sentence structures. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often marred by errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Punctuation is generally functional, but the overall control of grammar is weak. To improve, the student should focus on basic subject-verb agreement, proper article usage, and ensuring that complex sentence structures are grammatically sound.
