Student answer (Band 6.0)
In number of areas of Us, a lock down is imposed in which youngster are unable to leave their homes late night without the supervision of an adult. I believe that teenage is the crucial stage and it strictly requires rules and regulation to be followed which consequently provides long-term benefits. In my opinion, imposing restrictions at younger age is essential for the successful career as most of the people got indulged into life spoiling habits.
In this contemporary era, it is often debated that young children should be strictly handled for their bright future, as they have access to all the technologies and luxuries which can be constructive or destructive several ways. Night out without parents can be detrimental for youngsters as they can use that time by performing unusual activities , consequently, indulging into drug abuse, pornography and several other activities which needs several procedures to get rid of them. For example, when friends from different age groups spend time togather, they often force other to perform something like smoking or taking drugs which ruins their whole life.
In addition to it, late light outings has several detrimental effects on health, as one who stays up till late night consumes fast food which consequently, enhances obesity and that is the root cause of other diseases, such as, diabetes, heart disease and many mores. To spend a healthy living, one should follow a healthy routine which mainly involves a healthy sleep cycle of eight hours. However, in case of any emergency youngsters should go out with their adults to avoid any mishap. For example, people usually consume fried items late night which causes bloating and stomach problems.
To conclude, teenage is the most crucial phase of life as it shapes the people for their entire life, strict supervision is necessary for them as negligence at this stage can cause life long damage which in some cases is impossible to overcome.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed the prompt by clearly stating your opinion in favor of curfews. You provide relevant reasons, such as the prevention of negative peer influence and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the link between curfews and 'successful careers' is mentioned in the introduction but not fully explored in the body paragraphs. Additionally, some arguments, such as the connection between late-night outings and obesity, are slightly tangential to the core issue of public safety and teenage behavior. To reach a higher band, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed argument that directly supports your main position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'In addition to it', 'However', and 'To conclude', to link your ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'In number of areas of Us' (missing articles) and 'late light outings' (likely a typo for 'late night'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is more precise throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'detrimental', 'supervision', and 'contemporary era'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'life spoiling habits', 'youngster are unable', and 'late light outings'. Some phrasing is also repetitive, and there are minor errors in word formation, such as 'togather' (spelling) and 'more' (incorrect pluralization). To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure that your vocabulary is used accurately in context to convey your ideas more naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this level. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. These include missing articles ('In number of areas', 'at younger age'), subject-verb agreement issues ('youngster are'), and punctuation errors. While these errors do not generally impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, pay closer attention to basic grammatical rules, particularly article usage and pluralization, and try to proofread your work to catch these minor slips before finalizing your response.
